Riding powder is like hiking into a backcountry camping trip. Once you're past the trailhead, if you have the right gear, there's nothing better. If you have the wrong stuff, there's nothing worse. The Navigator is your fire starter; it is your compass that never fails. It is essential to the experience. For 2021, this powder annihilating series features Inlaid Cork Dampeners die-cut into custom modified forward sections to dampen vibrations common with oversized powder shapes. Retaining a Parabolic sidecut and sinking tapered tail to swim through the soft stuff, the wide-frame rockered nose naturally floats above deep snow. The resulting shape transforms tiring powder days into emotionally fulfilling, epic level experiences.
FSC Certified Dual Core: Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability.
Inlaid Cork Dampeners: New! Reduces chatter on the nose to help you blast through pow and choppy snow at high speed with increased confidence.
Carbon Fiber Beams: Increases power and response while remaining ultralight.
Special Blend Fiberglass + Magic Bean Resin: Custom weighted Biaxial top / Biaxial bottom = increased strength and durability. Impregnated with reformulated, high performance plant based MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN.
Quantum Drive Base: Harder, stronger, faster, the Quantum Drive™ base is an updated sintered ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density polyethylene—the Millenium Falcon of bases, just got turbo charged.
Multitech Level 4 DeepSpace Silkscreen
PAM16000 Topsheet with Metallic Underlay: Mad Scientist at the Mothership approved. 16000 jet nozzles create a solventless, water based, UV ink, with deadly accuracy and quality.
Die Cut Base: Super precise laser-guided, die cutting technology enable sharp edges and poppy AF solid color for our bases. It’s a Herculean feat to assemble all the little pieces back together again but gaaaddamn it looks fine.
PLT Topsheet Technology: Produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without the poisonous deadweight. Exclusive to Capita MFG, this process magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard.
360 Degree HRC48 Steel Edges: Steel edges that run all around the board.
Full ABS1000 Sidewalls: Very dense plastic that protects the core of the snowboard from water, rocks etc. and adds an element of torsional rigidity.
Stainless Steel 4 x 2 Inserts

Camber underfoot with a bit of rocker lift in the nose gives you the ultimate best of both worlds for a pow ready board that holds up in any condition.
This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
The ALPINE V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider’s performance in deep snow. The camber runs longer in the tail—providing extra power for the ascent or for larger riders drawn to a dedicated wide series.
A smooth, reliable ride.
Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
