The new Hovercraft is a modern manifestation of our cult classic alternative freeride shape that features our most advanced 3D shape tech and groundbreaking recycled materials. The Hovercraft’s new shape keeps the floaty nose, compact tail, directional rocker profile and long sidecut that made the original model so nimble and stable, but its been supercharged with 12mm of spoon bevel in the nose for lightning fast turn intiation and a glide accentuating, speed boosting 3D hull in the tail. The new Hovercraft is also built with recycled materials from old snowboards making it the most responsibly produced board in the Jones line. Now a unisex model with sizes to fit riders of every body type, the one and only Hovercraft is ready to win the hearts of powder slashers and all-mountain rippers the world over once again.

Profile: Directional Rocker (Multi-Camber)
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tips floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.
Shape: Directional
Directional shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder.
Flex: 7 (Scale 1 - 10)
Power. Precision. Control.
Base: Sintered
High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
