Profile: Tapered Directional Hybrid Camber
The Magic Stick is designed for all-mountain performance. The tapered directional hybrid shape will ensure float in softer snow, while providing stability on harder snow. The camber between the bindings provides snap and response and the slightly longer nose has more rocker than the narrower tail, which both provide float and control in all conditions. A Tapered Bi-Radial sidecut provides effortless turn initiation and a smooth and stable turn/exit. Slimewalls® provide a smooth ride and increase durability underfoot. Carbon Array 3™ provides extra pop and control without adding stiffness. The Magic Stick is a mid-flexing allmountain shape for the most demanding women riders.
Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut: A twin sidecut (with taper) which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This improves leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.
Sintered, Stone Ground Base: High-end, sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder, and faster than extruded.
Women's Performance™ Core: Specifically formulated for the women's line. Combines lightweight paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.
Cleave-Edge™: Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned for larger radii.
Slime Walls: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Linear Carbon: Two strips of carbon added below the core to provide more snap for ollie power.
Carbon Array 3™: Power distribution technology that provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Single Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.
Hybrid Glass: triaxal on top, biaxal on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
Roll-In Construction: Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.Thin Con: Each Ride board features Thin Construction with tapered tips and tails. This reduces swing weight, enhances tip flex, and improves overall durability.
Directional Hybrid Camber
This board bend has entry rocker that adds lift to the nose while a camber section under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. This bend caters to those who like the attributes of traditional camber but want something that will get up to speed and float easier in pow.
Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
