Building on the legendary Camel Toe, the Camel 2 is the ultimate directional freeride board. It performs equally well on slopes as it does in deep powder thanks to POW 3BT™ and a tapered outline. This board is the next leap forward in all-mountain directional riding.

• Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
• SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.
  
• SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.
  
• Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
  
• Our 50-50 Swiss paulownia and poplar woods blend for optimal strength to weight properties.
  
• Dual Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight. The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.
  
• We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

• Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. That is why you will find flip flop base options on most of our die-cut bases. This means orders can be filled with either color option which makes environmental sense.

Camber Profile:

Mellow Camber

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control. 
However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

3D Shape Triple Base Technology™

Pow 3BT™ features a narrow centerbase and maximum uplift with SideKick™ in the nose. The emphasis in this shape is on floating. The oversized nose assures unrivaled float and stability in rough conditions. When it gets deep there is nothing that beats it. Make no mistake these boards hold there own on hardpack as well.

3BT - Triple Base Technology

After lots of research, analyzing, tinkering, and testing, Bataleon came up with their patented 3BT™ shaping technique. All our boards feature tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted contact points at the widest part of the board. Over the years we perfected 3BT™ to best perform for every kind of riding by fine tuning the synergies between the flat base, side bases, radii and camber.

Flat Base Riding Initiation: The widest section of the board is lifted off the snow while riding flat based allowing you to ride straight without catching edges or needing to keep your edges engaged.

Turn Initiation: With a small amount of pressure and angle, the sidebases start to engage near the bindings, but the pressure remains constant along the contact edge.

On Edge: While on edge, the 3D shaped sidecut forms a complete arc with the snow, offering unparalleled and powerful edge hold.
