Profile: Hybrid Camber
With his surreal and sci-fi source of inspiration, Paul Jackson has remixed DC's vision of the Yeti. This highly detailed illustration reflects Jackson's skill at fusing the natural and supernatural. This graphic will definitely add more madness to your method as you storm the mountain!
Lock and Load Camber: The board has traditional camber throughout the midsection with longer traditional contact points, creating a flat, stable platform. This skate-inspired profile allows DC to create an entirely new feeling of power and stability.
Stratus Core: Using FSC certified wood, the stratus core consists of smooth flexing poplar with two stringers of beech running down the middle of the board for added strength.
Biax Fiberglass: A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate providing a fun, forgiving, snappy ride.
TrueBase: Dc's signature True Base is fast, durable, and easy to maintain. It provides an exceptionally fast base that doesn't require frequent tuning.
3 Degree Edge Bevel
Wide: A wider waist width for those with larger footprints. Recommended for boot sizes 11.5+
Precision, control and pop.
The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.
A completely symmetrical shape, which thrives in a variety of freestyle situations. At the core of its design, the twin shape features an identical nose and tail shape, which provides an identical feel and predictable maneuverability whether riding regular or switch. Although originally developed with park riders in mind, twin shapes have also grown to be embraced by many all-mountain riders that like to bring a skateboard style riding out of the park and onto the entire mountain.
