Shorter is better. The wide nose and tapered swallowtail shape of the K2 Cool Bean Snowboard produces maximum float in deep snow, and thanks to K2’s Volume Shift™ technology, heel and toe drag are nearly eliminated – boding well for deep carves and surfy vibes.

DIRECTIONAL ROCKER BASELINE
An all-purpose profile designed to be the perfect companion for the all-terrain snowboarder. Directional Rocker Baseline has a medium-rise in the tip and a lower rise in the tail, allowing for effortless turns on hard pack and ample float in soft snow and crud.
BAP CORE
They've blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that's strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
BIAXAL GLASS
Smooth, all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0 degrees and 90 degrees, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
VOLUME SHIFT
K2 moved volume from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed it underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float of a traditional board, but increases mobility and maneuverability. More slashing and better lines in the trees are now a reality.
4000 SINTERED BASE
K2's sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
