What is better than carbon? More carbon! The Climax is the spawn of the world’s best rider / biggest dreamer converging with the world’s best board builders. Ultra-light tip and tails, a carbon over carbon over magnesium fiber wrapping an ultralight balsa/paulownia core. An eco sublimated bio beans top and rugged sintered base on Travis’ favorite C2x freestyle friendly freeride geometries. A high performance dream ride.
Board Art By: Mike Parillo (@mikeparillo) Travis’ most advanced geometry and construction become an art piece of their own and merge with Parillo’s big bang. C2X Camber
Camber Profile:
C2X Camber
A shorter, more aggressive banana rocker combined with cambers that sit more underfoot. Extra solid tip and tail pressure for power, pop, precision and end-to-end stability combined with a medium amount of pressure between your feet for carving, edge hold on ice and float in pow.
Shape:
Directional
Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.
