Travis worked with our experiMENTAL Division to design this dream freestyling directional freerider. Ultra light_ smooth riding basalt construction that can handle power and an oversized terrain mindset. Low spin weight tips and tails and a balsa enlightened core for nimble precision and extra rotations where applicable. Dream big!
Art by Kim Krans (@ kim_krans) _ artist_ author_ and creator of The New York Times bestseller_ The Wild Unknown Tarot. “True to its name_ this board is an epic tribute to the force of the Orca. I used a super traditional pointalism technique to create the gradation of the whale’s body_ and we let all the magic come from its single eye. The idea here is that this board carries you through the depths of backcountry_ and the Orca’s eye is your compass along the way. There is no getting lost” ~Kim Krans

CAMBER PROFILE:
MULTI CAMBER
Like the name suggests_ hybrid profiles are a mix of camber_ flat and rocker. There are heaps of different combinations of this employed by snowboard manufacturers. The rocker in the tip and tail are great for turn initiation and float in powder_ whilst the camber underfoot adds stability_ pop and increased edge-hold. You get the edge-hold you need from the camber section underfoot and the float in powder from the rocker sections.
Carves the resort_ plays in the park and slays the powder. We worked with Travis Rice to develop this perfectly balanced all terrain contour. Mild rocker between your feet combined with powerful cambers to the tips and tails. Enough power_ pop_ and precision to hit the biggest wedges. Enough float and freedom to rip the gnarliest AK lines. • Full contact and control in all conditions • Central rocker builds in carve_ edge hold and float • Powerful cambers build in pop_ stability and control
SHAPE:
DIRECTIONAL
Directional boards typically have a longer_ pointier nose_ with a stance set back towards the tail. This makes them better suited to riding forwards. These boards will carve well on the piste and plough easily through powder – since the short tail naturally sinks while the large nose floats over the snow.
This board has a recommended setback of 2.5" meaning it'll carve like no other and float perfect in pow.
