CAMBER PROFILE:

FLAT

Just like it sounds this profile has no camber or rocker – it’s flat between the contact points.

This camber style gives a stable ride, meaning it could be a good option for beginners except that, like the traditional camber, it’s prone to catching an edge.

It makes it good for landing big air and is fine for hitting jibs. It is quick from edge to edge so is great for riding through trees and tighter areas and provides plenty of edge-hold.

The trade off is that, due to having so much contact with the ground, this style will be a slower ride. So if speed is your thing this may not be the way to go. Also for beginners it will be easier to catch an edge than a rocker board but is more stable.

Directional boards typically have a longer, pointier nose, with a stance set back towards the tail. This makes them better suited to riding forwards. These boards will carve well on the piste and plough easily through powder – since the short tail naturally sinks while the large nose floats over the snow.

Powder-specific models will often deploy a so-called ‘swallow tail’ to accentuate the effect.

This board has a directional shape with a setback stance.

Nitro Snowboards and Nitro Snowboard Bindings have a two year limited warranty. Nitro Snowboards warrants original consumer purchaser of new and unused Nitro Snowboards and Nitro Bindings to be free of defects in materiel and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of initial purchase. If a defect is suspected, return only the defective part or product to the dealer from whom it was originally purchased. If a product is found to be defective by Nitro, at our sole discretion, Nitro's responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Nitro will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of this product. If, after inspection, the product is found not to be defective, it will be returned to the sender frieght collect.
