The Pillow Talk draws on inspiration from classic shapes like the Sick Stick, designed specifi ally for the ladies. Built with Rock Out Camber for float in pow and versatility in all conditions, this tapered twin turns 6-inch days into 12. Popster core and Ghost Basalt stringers keep things lively and natural underfoot for big energy all season.
Popster: Shaped woodcore profile with strategically placed variation of thickness. It maximizes the natural snap and powerful pop of wood. Feels like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard.
Quadralizer Sidecut: Explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic allows high speed carving as well as superior edge control in tight spots.
Aspen Select Core: Every single wood strip is hand selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness.
Ghost Basalt Stringers: Basalt stringers are sewn into a trial layer for durable pop, control and damp ride at high speed, and easy maneuverability when you’re keeping it mellow.
ABS Sidewall: The mollecular structure can be described as a concrete bar combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.
All Mountain Edge Bevels: From detuning the tip and tail to a 1-degree edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut, back to a 2-degree bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
BA MD Fiberglass: Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.
Fine Stone Finish: Salomon's fine stone finish is particularly efficient on our Sintered EG base, speed up in powder or softer snow conditions.
Sintered Base: An industry standard for quality sintered base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
FSC Certified Wood Core
Precision, control and pop.
The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.
What makes the Sick Stick ride so well in Pow and hardpack, is the tapered twin shape. Stance is centered within the effective edge while the tail is pulled in slightly to help with floatation.
