PRODUCT INFORMATION

The 686 Gateway™ Insulated Jacket is made for kids who see a snow day as an excuse to stay out all day. Warm infiLOFT® insulation, 10K waterproof protection, and a powder skirt keep them cozy through every lap, while the grow-with-you sleeves mean kids can keep riding it season after season.

Waterproofing: 2-Layer infiDRY® 10K 100% Recycled Polyester Fabric + PFAS Free DWR
Insulation: infiLOFT® Insulation (Body Mapped 120g Body / 80g Sleeve & Hood)
Fit: Regular

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Full-Seam Waterproof Armor: Fully taped Bemis® seams combined with waterproof center-front and chest zippers create a complete storm seal, stopping driving moisture from penetrating vulnerable stitching and zips.
  • Smart Core-Focused Insulation: Body-mapped infiLOFT® insulation concentrates 120g through the torso to keep their core warm, while 80g in the sleeves and hood preserves full arm movement for spinning and tweaking grabs.
  • Multi-Season Extended Wear: Youth Evolution™ sleeve extension system allows you to snip the contrast red threads inside the cuffs to extend the sleeves as your kid grows, giving you extra seasons out of a single jacket.
  • Powder & Draft Defense: Attached adjustable powder skirt and adjustable cuffs block snow from blowing up their back during deep powder days or heavy falls.
  • Helmet-Compatible Storm Hood: Velcro-adjustable hood with an inner elastic brim fits easily over ski and snowboard helmets to shield their face from freezing winds.
  • Functional Mountain Storage: 5-pocket setup—including a dedicated sleeve pass pocket with a key clip, zippered chest and hand pockets, and an internal tissue pocket—keeps all their daily pass and snack essentials close at hand.
