BEHIND THE PRODUCT
BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The Spoon Fish, with its slow nose rocker, which is now becoming the norm around the world, keeps the board in a position that gives this board natural buoyancy. In contrast to the shorter Spoon Fish, the Spoon Fish 152 rides mild and smooth, although being reliable in mid to high-speed speed high-pressure carving maneuvers. Great all-around cruiser in pow or pack.

In-depth Tech Specs:
- Profile: Accel Camber - GENTEMSTICK’s radical Accel Camber eliminates hooking and prevents nosedives in deep powder or fresh snow, while maintaining a natural floatation. It is designed and shaped to perform its best when the rider stands neutrally on top of the board. It's made flat from the widest point of the nose to the front foot. The arch begins there and reaches the highest around the back foot, and it ends at the widest point of the tail. When a rider stands on the board, the arch gets pushed and the area ahead of the front foot barely touches the snow. This is the position that maximizes the performance of the board, and also the same position that reaches maximum velocity in ski races and other speed competitions. The GENTEMSTICK Accel camber boards are distinctly designed, especially from the point where the camber ends to the widest point of the nose, with the focus to reduce resistance.
- Shape: Directional Tapered - Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns. A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
- Flex: 6 - Versatility at its finest. From groomers to pow and anywhere in between.
