PRODUCT FEATURES
PRODUCT FEATURES
Key Features:
- Glassing: Triax Glass Fiber Construction - Triax Glass Fiber Construction uses fiberglass woven in three directions to provide a perfect balance of torsional stiffness, durability, and energy transfer. This construction enhances edge hold and stability at speed while keeping the board responsive and lively underfoot.
- Core: Torrent Core - Made with 20% Poplar and 80% Paulownia, this core is lighter than the standard 50/50 blend. Poplar adds reliable flex and stability, while Paulownia cuts weight without sacrificing strength. The result is a light, responsive, and durable snowboard built to handle a variety of riding styles and terrain.
- Base: Sintered Base - Crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption.
In-depth Tech Specs:
- Profile: CamRock - The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.
- Shape: Directional Twin with an Underbite- At first sight directional twins snowboards look much the same as true twins, but there’s a subtle twist. While the sidecut is symmetrical (meaning it’ll turn great going switch) the nose is a touch longer to improve performance when you’re in your normal stance, both on hardpack and deep snow. UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.
- Flex: 7 All Terrain Flex - From the Peak to the Park and everything in between, excellent response for ultimate pop and smooth turns.
