PRODUCT INFORMATION

The A-Frames instinct kicks in at the top of the mountain. It's directional shape, mild taper, and setback stance assure comfortable cruising and an unmatched powder float. Engineered for high-speed carves and precision control, the A-Frame features a bigger radius side-cut and carbon RWD inlays for added stability and dampening. The optimal ride for big landings and powering through challenging snowpack.

Profile: Camber
Terrain: All-mountain/Powder
Response: Responsive

  • 3° Fenders: Unlike “early rise” or a “rockered” nose/tail transition zone, Arbor’s Fenders create smoother performance, without shortening the camber section of the board. As a result, you get a clean ride without any loss of the pop and performance that comes from full-length camber.
  • Highland II Core: A newly developed screening process has allowed us to hand select the very lightest and highest quality paulownia from our sourcing partners. The result is a lighter, more responsive version of the Highland Core known for highly reliable return and long-lasting durability.
  • Mixed Glassing: A Tri-ax over Bi-ax lay up that’s best for versatility; pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • Bio-Resin: All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).
  • Factory Tuned: Arbor detuned the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
  • RWD Carbon A-Frames: Diagonal carbon fiber inserts running diagonally from underneath your back foot to the outside contact point increase snap and rebound under your dominant back foot for powerful drive and power transfer.
  • 360* Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability
  • Palisander Powerply: Wood and bamboo top-sheets, built with natural fiber drives the performance, aesthetic, and ethos that Arbor is known for. Several steps are taken to get a Powerply onto their snowboards responsibly, and in a way that ensures durability and lasting quality.
  • R.A.P. Topless Technology: A build process in which we eliminate the need for our Bio-Plastic top-sheet creating a lighter, more eco friendly ride.
  • Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two
of Arbor’s key values, quality and sustainability.
  • Wend Natural Wax: All Arbor snowboards hit the shop floor ready to ride with Wend Natural Wax.
  • Recycled ABS Sidewalls
  • 2 x 4 14 Pack Inserts
  • 0.9cm Taper
  • 3-Year Warranty
  • Manufactured with 100% Solar Energy

Profile:
 Camber

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Directional Tapered

Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.

A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.

Flex: 9 (Scale 1 - 10)

Power, Precision, Control.

Base: Sintered

A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
