BEHIND THE PRODUCT

Bataleon is excited to introduce this special edition of the Whatever, created in collaboration with their talented friend Rop from the Wild Animals brand. Rop van Mierlo, a Dutch artist and snowboarder based in Amsterdam, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2008 and has worked with renowned brands like Marni and Hermès. Rop is best known for his stunning watercolor animals, and for this unique edition of the Whatever, we’ve selected a different feline for each board size, creating a beautifully wild collection of cats.

Base: Hyper Glide Base - Bataleons standard sintered base is both durable and fast — and gets even faster with regular waxing.
Carbon Stringers - Strategically placed carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune UltraGlide S A top-tier 7000-grade sintered base, reserved for the high-end models.
FlexWalls™ - All the Bataleon boards are made with superior poured-in Urethane sidewalls. This construction method allows for better bonding of the sidewalls to the core, creating a more durable snowboard.

In-depth Tech Specs:

Profile: 3BT™ - Tip-to-tail positive camber delivers pop and responsiveness, creating dynamic riding characteristics. Lifted points at the widest part of the board provide a smoother, more forgiving ride.
Shape: Directional Twin Shape - Directional twin snowboards aim to achieve maximum versatility. To the untrained eye, they look basically the same as a true twin, but look closer and you will see they have a slightly set back stance to favour riding forwards and/or in deep snow. At Bataleon, the nose of our directional twins is 1cm longer than the tail.
Flex: 5 A happy medium to rip the whole mountain
