Ideal for creative freeriding and freestyle. The Mind Expander is a playful all-mountain board designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson that wants to pop pillows and porpoise through pow. Its a friendly ride as its easy to turn and has a directional shape with a long nose and tapered tail for epic float. This is a board for the creative rider who likes to blaze fresh tracks and draw playful lines down the mountain.

Key Features:

Glassing: Bio Resin - Bio Resin is a bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic raw materials used to make bio-resin are co-products or waste products of plant-based industrial processes. Bio-resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions to produce than conventional epoxy.
Core: Bamboo Surf Core - Re-designed triple density Bamboo Surf wood core that features primarily paulownia stringers with bamboo stringers positioned in the pocket of the sidecut for better edge response and turn power.
Base: Sintered 8000 Base - New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.
Carve Pack - Allows more centered stance option for riding firm snow.

Profile: C. Surf Camber Rocker - Custom tip/tail rocker profile designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson for the Mountain Surfer and Storm Chaser. The nose rocker starts just inside of the front inserts and the tail rocker starts just at the back inserts. A traditional full camber profile that offers the insane edge response of camber without the usual hang-ups.
Shape: Directional - A smooth, reliable ride. Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder.
