The Orion binding is made for fun focused freeriders who are looking for a comfortable and durable freeride binding with a freestyle friendly medium soft flex. The Orion features SKATETECH technology that transfers energy directly to your edges and a Progressive Flex Highback that is stiffer at the bottom and softer at the top for a precise and playful binding feel.

Materials - Made from nylon, and recycled carbon.
Ratchets - Zytech buckles are Ultra-strong levers made out of Zytel Fiber Composite material with strong stainless steel springs and axis. Triple action ratchet increase speed of entry.
Heelcup - Made from recycled materials, with flushcup technology, giving you ultimate fit and comfort.
Baseplate - Comfort foam foot pillow.
Adjustability - Tool-less strap adjustment.

Progressive Flex Highback- Designed for precise and playful response. Symmetric mid-wide profile and medium flex for carving, tweaking airs and riding switch.
Comfort Flex Ankle Strap - Comfort Flex Ankle Straps are 3D molded to evenly distribute pressure and eliminate strap bite plus asymmetric for customizable response. Flip-It Strap compatible (Freeride mode + Surf mode).
3D Flex Fit 2.5 Toe Strap - 3D Flex Fit 2.5 toe straps stretch for ultimate fit and comfort.
Flip It Strap - Jones bindings offer customizable dampening and response by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. Surf Mode lets you tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum response. Switch modes by changing the bushings from soft (Surf Mode) to hard (Freeride Mode) and adjusting the Flip-It ankle straps. The Flip-It strap allows you to interchange the ankle straps between the left and right binding to create custom response. Ride with the ankle straps in Freeride mode for more lateral support and board response or flip the straps into Surf Mode for solid heel support, but more ankle flexibility for getting loose
Surf Mode Bushings - This binding comes equipped with Soft Bushings (Surf Mode) for an ultimate surfy feel.
Skate-Tech - Power is transmitted through the center disk. When you make a hard heel or toe turn on traditional bindings the pressure you place on your straps goes into the fixed center disk and forces the binding baseplate to bend before power is delivered to the edges. Energy is concentrated at the center of the board with traditional rigid baseplates which decreases potential turn power compared to SkateTech bindings.
