PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Bryan Iguchi Pro Splitboard is designed to navigate nature's most challenging terrain. This board is built with Arbor's precision splitboard technology to deliver confidence on any mountain in all conditions. Bryan's Pro splitboard is built on Hand Dyed Ash using the R.A.P. "Rise Above Plastics" top for easy snow shed plus decreased weight and waste. Be it summer corn, ice, or deep powder, this board will deliver confidence on any splitboard mission.

Profile: Camber
Terrain: Powder/Backcountry
Response: Medium

Features:

  • R.A.P. Topless Technology: A build process in which we the need for Bio-Plastic Top-sheet is eliminated, creating a lighter, more eco-friendly ride.
  • FSC Certified Highland Split Core: Arbor's highly versatile FSC Certified Highland Core, with additional insert and center-line components for a premium factory splitboard.
  • 3° Fenders: Unlike “early rise” or a “rockered” nose/tail transition zone, Arbor’s Fenders create smoother performance, without shortening the camber section of the board. As a result, you get a clean ride without any loss of the pop and performance that comes from full-length camber.
  • Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • Bio-Resin: All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).
  • Factory Tuned: Arbor detuned the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
  • 360 Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
  • Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
  • Wend Natural Wax: All Arbor snowboards hit the shop floor ready to ride with Wend Natural Wax.
  • 1.0cm Taper: A shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink in deeper snow creating natural float and cleaner tracking.
  • Karakoram Ultra Clip: Karakoram’s premium splitboard clip is powerful, easier to use, and lighter. Once joined, the UltraClip fully constrains the seam of your splitboard to eliminate seam rattling, seam shearing, and seam rolling. The lever locks in the touring position as well to eliminate unwanted movement on the ascent.
  • Hand Dyed Ash Powerply
  • Universal Splitboard Insert Packs
  • 3 Year Warranty
  • Manufactured with 100% Solar Energy

Profile:
 Camber

Precision, control and pop.

The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.

However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

Shape: Directional Tapered

Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.

A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees mega-enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.

Flex: 7 (Scale 1 - 10)

Powerful balance for big mountain riding.

Base: Sintered

A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
