BEHIND THE PRODUCT

The Party Wave is everyone’s favourite fun board. Decades of experience with 3D shapes have enabled Bataleon to shift volume from length to width without sacrificing edge-to-edge performance. It’s designed to be ridden 5-10 cm shorter than your normal board. The Party Wave is a nimble and floaty pocket rocket that dials up the fun all over the mountain. Bataleon has upgraded the shape with a fresh pin tail and optimized the width on the smaller sizes.

Glassing: Bi-Ax Laminate - A time-tested two way weave that keeps the board light, strong, and snappy, without increasing torsional stiffness.
Core: Core Core - This features a Full poplar with hardwood beech stringers to strengthen the boards backbone, reinforce the inserts and increase pop.
Base: Hyper Glide S - This Base is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
3BT+ Sidekick-3BT - Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.
Sidebase Uplift: High nose, Low Tail - The gradual side base uplift determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology, making Bataleon boards more versatile than others.

Profile: Medium Camber - Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...
Shape: Directional - On more freeride orientated boards the center base is at its most narrow and the uplift is at its highest this creates unparalleled float in pow super fast edge-to-edge transitioning.
Flex: 4 Park riders and all-mountain riders alike will thrive on this mid/soft flexing board. Burly enough for jumps, flexible enough to work your way through elbow kinks.
