Coming in two different sizes 153cm & a 157cm Alex Yoder Pro model.

The 153cm scaled down model of the XY inherits the unique riding feel of the original Alex Yoder XY on both groomers and powder alike, but in a more compact package. With a new bottom profile specifically designed for this model, it allows more freedom of control in 3D terrain for smaller riders still being able to enjoy the smooth signature turns and deep carves of the XY. Although being a little more compact, the relatively large side cut radius combined with the bottom contour allow it to charge down lines in high speed and thread through tight tree runs. It is similar to the original Mantaray 154 in size, but has a very unique character of its own.

What Alex Yoder wanted from the 157cm XY was a fusion of masculine strength and feminine elegance. A width that promises deep carving, a length that can handle deep snow and steep slopes, a side-cut that makes the transition from heel to toe feel more natural, and a nose and tail design that brings out all of these to the fullest extent. The XY is the board that embodies Alex's ideal riding.

Profile: Accel Camber - GENTEMSTICK’s radical Accel Camber eliminates hooking and prevents nosedives in deep powder or fresh snow, while maintaining a natural floatation. It is designed and shaped to perform its best when the rider stands neutrally on top of the board. It's made flat from the widest point of the nose to the front foot. The arch begins there and reaches the highest around the back foot, and it ends at the widest point of the tail. When a rider stands on the board, the arch gets pushed and the area ahead of the front foot barely touches the snow. This is the position that maximizes the performance of the board, and also the same position that reaches maximum velocity in ski races and other speed competitions. The GENTEMSTICK Accel camber boards are distinctly designed, especially from the point where the camber ends to the widest point of the nose, with the focus to reduce resistance.
Shape: Directional Tapered - Directional tapered boards excel in a pure mountain environment. The tail sinks in pow for better float and quicker turns.
A directional shape with a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail get taken to the next level with a tapering design—which sees a wider nose tapering into a narrower tail. The advantages are two-fold: this shape not only sees enhanced floatation with a surfy feel in deep powder, it also creates a faster turning snowboard which is noticeably more nimble and great for tree riding.
