BEHIND THE PRODUCT

The Burnout does its dirty work in the park and streets. The unique sidecut design—boasting a straighter tip and tail radius blended with an aggressive mid-section—allows the rider to track straight in and out of features but still lay down a carve when needed. This board is designed to meet the needs of the modern freestyle rider.

*Wide: A wider waist width for those with larger footprints. Recommended for boot sizes 11.5+*

PRODUCT FEATURES

Key Features:

  • Glassing: Hybrid Glass: Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
  • Core: Performance™ Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
  • Base: Sintered, Stone Ground Base: Imagine a sintered base as the "Ferrari" of snowboard bases. It's like a sponge that loves speed. This base is made by heating and compressing tiny polyethylene particles together. It creates a porous structure that can absorb wax really well. This means the board rides smooth and fast on the snow. Sintered bases are tough, durable, and fast.

In-depth Tech Specs:

  • Profile: Camber: Precision, control and pop.The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control. However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.
  • Shape: Twin Shape: A completely symmetrical shape, which thrives in a variety of freestyle situations. At the core of its design, the twin shape features an identical nose and tail shape, which provides an identical feel and predictable maneuverability whether riding regular or switch.
  • Flex: 6, Power, Precision, Pop
