• Bamboo Omega HotRods: One single rod of bamboo milled into the boards core in the nose for pressability and playfulness. Made of carbon, Omegas act as housing built around the HotRods and are designed to provide additonal power and responsiveness.
• Directional Diamond 3D: Designed to increase float in deep snow, improve handling in variable terrain, smooth turn initiation, reduce edge catch and complement all-mountain riding in all-senses.
• Flax Walls: New for this season Flax Walls are an I-Beam shaped sidewall reinforcement. This natural, low-density material has advanced strengthening properties. When used in a vertical arrangement between the core and sidewall Flax Walls create rigidity and stability. We use strategic mapping to inlay Flax Walls on directional boards to utilize these benefits.
• DoubleKick: Used on freestyle-oriented boards, Double Kick is an aggressive, two-part rise in the boards nose and tail. Designed for locked in presses, torsional stability and riding away from sketchy landings. 
• Flax Impact Plates: New for this season we overhauled Rome's industry leading Impact Plates. Now with a full woven flax construction and a new shape that covers and reinforces the insert pack. Flax Impact Plates are designed to make boards more durable. Flax Impact Plates help absorb impact and add increased strength without changing the board’s flex pattern.
• Triax Fiberglass: Fiberglass running in three different axes, built for torsionally rigidity and added snap.
• 20mm Taper: Taper is featured in directional boards built with wider noses than tails, helping with agile turns and added float in deep snow.

Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, with a positive cambered tail.

Shape: Directional

Boards with significantly longer noses than tails, typically featuring taper to help keep the nimble and floating in deep snow. Directional boards feature camber profiles that are oriented for all-mountain riding.
