The super solid Basic with a faster base and a poppier flex pattern, the Yes Typo Snowboard is a bona fide classic. This isn't some surfy backcountry pow board, it's a park and resort board made to accompany your rise to the top of the pro ranks: a pure freestyle machine meant for the highest levels of trickery. When you make it big, make sure they spell your name right!

Profile: Hybrid Camber
Terrain: All-mountain
Response: Medium Responsive

  • Full Poplar: Yes's baseline core for tip to tail wood-core snowboard construction. Strikes a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex and light weight.
  • Underbite: UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This increases the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy in the areas where you need it - from the binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the side-cut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.
  • Biax Fiberglass
  • Art by: Guillaume Rousseaux
  • *Wide: recommended for 11.5+ men's snowboard boots*

Profile: Directional Camrock

The response of camber with floatability of rocker. By combining camber and rocker you allow the board to be both responsive and floaty. The camber is between your feet as a spring keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more allowing it to float.

Shape: Directional Twin

Directional twins are a combination of true twins and directional boards, combining the best elements of both designs to create one versatile board that can do it all.

Flex: 6 (Scale 1 - 10)

Versatility at its finest.

Base: Sintered Spec

This is the term Yes uses and is the grey zone many companies play in. They call it Sintered Spec because it’s hardness and chemical properties are very close to true sintered and it’s on-snow performance is also very close to true sintered - but it’s formed using the extrusion process. How? – Well the raw material is actually pre- consumer recycled (meaning it never left the factory) sintered base material. So while the heating and extrusion process has softened it slightly, it’s still much harder than true Extruded.
