YES Pyzel Wide Snowboard 2024

This year YES partnered up with their good friends at PYZEL surfboards to build an
all-mountain performance board. This board is the only board you’ll need all winter long, it has a tapered MidBite outline and some slamback inserts for those big powder days. Its twin construction makes it a true freestyle board when you’re riding the park or pipe. This board is like riding pipeline alone, it’s a dream. But this one comes true.

Features:

• Core: Poplar/Paulownia: The weightless core strikes a critical balance between lightweight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structural and Paulownia in the areas that are, we’re able to shave precious weight off our beloved 420 and now the 20/20. This helps a board not only float, but “feel” floaty.

• Tapered Midbite: Tight turns, stable landings and float TaperedMidbite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose and narrower tail for powder flotation.The design steps a single section of each sidecut inwards between the insert packs. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings cheats the waist width narrower, providing quicker edge-to-edge response. Meanwhile, from your bindings out to the end of the sidecut we maintain a wider board width that improves float in pow and is a stable platform. The Step inwards on the front is deeper than the Step outwards on the back creating a slight taper in the tail allowing the tail to be just a little narrower than the nose but without losing the twin feel.

Camber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have an edge hold enough to drive in and out of turns, the Camber acts as a shock absorber on cars they push the wheels into the road to enhance grip. The camber does exactly that to the edge. Allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.
